You meet the Carer to:

5. Are your Carers vetted or insured?
Yes. Every Wag Crew Carer completes:

6. What types of dogs do you accept?
Each Carer lists the breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments they can care for.
You can filter Carers to find the perfect match for your dog.
7. What should I bring for my dog’s stay?

8. Can my dog take medication during the stay?
Yes. Most Carers can administer oral medication.
If your dog requires injections or specialised care, choose a Carer with the appropriate experience.
9. How many dogs will be looked after at once?
Each Carer sets their own limit.
Some accept one household only, while others welcome multiple friendly dogs from different families.
10. Will my dog be left alone?
Carers list their “maximum alone time” on their profile.
If your dog needs constant company, choose a Carer with low or zero alone-time.
11. Will I receive updates?
Yes. Carers send regular updates, messages, and photos so you can relax while you’re away.
12. What if my dog has behavioural issues or anxiety?
Please disclose any issues during the booking process.
Many Carers are experienced with anxious, reactive, or rescue dogs and can accommodate their needs safely.
13. What is your cancellation policy?
Each Carer has their own policy (flexible, moderate, or strict).
The policy shows clearly before you confirm your booking.
14. What happens in an emergency?
If your dog becomes unwell, the Carer will:
Contact you immediately
Take your dog to your nominated vet if needed
Follow your emergency instructions
15. How do payments work?
You pay securely through Wag Crew when you confirm the booking.
Carers are only paid after the stay has successfully finished.
16. Can I meet multiple Carers before choosing?
Yes. Enquiries and meet-and-greets are free.
You only pay when you confirm a booking via the site
17. Can you help me select the right Carer?
Yes. We can recommend Carers based on your dog’s needs, your location, travel dates, and your preferences (quiet home, no children, fenced garden, experienced with certain breeds, etc.).
